ADMISSIONS 2026

The Western Cape Education Department (WCED) has modified the opening and closing dates for admissions:

Grade R and Grade 1 applications:  open 11 March 2025  - Closed 15 April 2025
Transfers open:  04 August 2025 - Closed 18 August 2025

No supporting documentation needs to be dropped off at the school and all applications should be completed online only.  Please ensure that you have uploaded all the supporting documentation to the WCED website upon application.

ADMISSIONS POLICY

The Governing Body of Westcott Primary School has, as stipulated in the South African Schools Act of 1996, constituted the following as the admissions policy of our school. The governing body reserves the right to alter or amend the admission requirements of the school. Please note that this will not be done once the admissions for a particular year have started.

SCHOOL FEES (2025)

  • Annual School Fees (Grade 1 to 7)     R 21 603.00 per annum
  • Pre-primary Fees (Grade R)                R 24 584.00 per annum
  • Aftercare Fees:  PER MONTH
    • FULL TIME                                R 935.00 (12h45 - 17h30. Including 1/2 day school holidays)
    • HALF TIME                                R 605.00 (14h30 - 17h30)
    • IN BETWEEN                             R 385.00 (13h00 - 14h45)
  • Music:
    • Individual                                    R 1 205.00 per term
    • Group                                         R    952.00 per term
    • Voluntary Building Fund Donation   Minimum R30 x 10 months = R 300.00 (tax deductible)
